The Schenectady County Historical Society
maintains wonderful collections documenting domestic and industrial life from 1690 to today including one of two pre-revolutionary war "Liberty" flags known to exist. The rese
arch library is a valuable source for genealogy records. The museum is open week days,
presents programs on many Saturdays, and oversees the Mabee Farm
Historical Site in Rotterdam Junction.
